Wrinkles after a facelift needing tighter skin*

This patient had previously had a lifestyle lift with another surgeon several years ago. She was left with a number of skin tension lines across the cheek and needed to tighten her skin. She did not want to undergo a second facelift. She also had signs of sun damage, with brown spots, and loose skin under the eyelid. To address all these concerns at the same time a deep chemical peel was performed. In terms of rejuvenation of the face, few things compare to the strength of a good Croton oil / Phenol. These types of peels should only be performed by an experienced practitioner. They are far deeper than glycolic, TCA, Vi peels, or Blue Peels. The results of these peels last for years and can be repeated if necessary. Recovery time is 10-14 days.
