This patient had many years of sun exposure, in time before sun block was regularly used. As a result she was feeling older than her age. Her young daughter is a model and when she would accompany her on shoots, some people would say how nice it was to bring your "Grandmother Along." After hearing that one too many times she decided to do something about it. Several treatment options were proposed and we settled on an "Old School" Croton Oil / Phenol Peel. These peels are some of the most aggressive peels that can be performed. As a result this peel was performed in the operating room with sedation and monitoring. The recovery process took several weeks but the results were worth it. Few other treatments come close to a deep peel of this type.
