Recovery for breast augmentation is usually seven to ten days. Most patients will report some discomfort in the first 3 days that is well controlled with pain medication. After a few days the breasts will become softer and patients begin to return to normal activity. Usually sports activities are restricted at first. Light exercise such as walking and recumbent stationary bicycle can begin at week two. Intimacy may also begin at week two. By week number four breast augmentation patients may begin weight lifting and by six weeks patients can return to strenuous activity such as crossfit classes. In all the recovery is rapid and within a short time most patients are enjoying their new look.
