In this patient a closed rhinoplasty was performed in which the only incisions which were made were on the inside of the nose. The closed approach is chosen in some cases depending on the amount of tip work that needs to be done.

Closed Rhinoplasty

Taking the bump off a nose

You can easily improve a person's profile by reducing a prominant hump.  This hump is composed of both bone and cartilege and can be reduced with several different appraches. In this case the inciaions were only on the inside of the nose and thus this case would be considered a closed rhinopasty.
